Scarlet Macaws of Costa Rica Photo Workshop — Optional Rainforest Photo Tour Extension

Roy Toft has been photographing the wildlife in the rainforest of Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula for over 20 years. In fact, his book, “Osa: Where the Rainforest Meets the Sea” is a culmination of two decades spent traveling the area.

On the Toft Photo Rainforests of Costa Rica photo workshop, learn Roy Toft’s photographic techniques that allow professional wildlife photographers to capture outstanding images. While staying in remote eco lodges deep in the Costa Rica rainforest jungle, you will come away from this “photo vacation” knowing how to setup and shoot macro subjects, use on-camera flash and off-camera fill-flash expertly, and how to anticipate and shoot action shots of fast moving Scarlet Macaws or slow moving three-toed sloths!

Roy Toft is the main photographic workshop instructor and wildlife guide. This small group workshop is suited for all levels of photographers.

Jaguars of Pantanal Brazil Photo Trip with Roy Toft

Brazil Photo Tour with Roy Toft

Jaguars of the Pantanal — Brazil Photo Vacation and Tour
There are very few areas left in the world to photograph the near-threatened big cat Jaguar in the wild. The Brazilian Pantanal is the place to photograph Jaguars as it is the largest continental wetland and holds the highest density of wild Jaguars in the world. For wildlife photographers, this is a dream come true. As a near-threatened species, the number of wild Jaguars in the world is in decline. The best and most successful opportunity to photograph the third-largest feline is in the Pantanal of Brazil and it is right now.

Join Roy Toft on a nine day Jaguar and wildlife photo tour in the Brazilian Pantanal wetlands. Experience the excitement of photographing wild Jaguars, as well as endangered Giant River Otters and Brazilian tapirs, Capybaras, Jabiru Stork, Hyacinth Macaws and other animals by land and motor boat. Our small photo tour group will travel along the Pantanal river systems by boats driven by expert local wildlife guides that will give us the best chance for success in our quest for photographing this amazing elusive cat.
