2012 Focus on Planet Earth — Botswana

We made it to Africa! Landing in Johannesburg a few days early gave us a chance to scout camps in the Kalihari for next year’s Botswana photo safari. This year’s Focus on Planet Earth — Botswana tour starts tomorrow (Tuesday, March 22) and ends on April 4th. We will travel through three different habitats in northern Botswana, which includes Delta, Moremi and Linyanti. The last day and half are spent at Victoria Falls (the Smoke that Thunders) in Zimbabwe. From here we move on to this year’s tour extension, four days photographing elephants, lions, hippos, and wild hunting dogs in Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park.

This tour, plus extension, was sold out within a few weeks of posting so our lineup for next year will include two full tour options (dates are in the works now). That said, please don’t miss out on what will be a very exciting opportunity to photograph some amazing birds and animals. Be sure to reserve your spot for Toft Photo’s 2012 African photo safari tour today!
